Understanding Economics is essential because it provides a framework for understanding how societies allocate scarce resources to meet the needs and wants of individuals and organizations.

By all means, we will analyse micro and macroeconomics, economic statistics, public economics and taxation, international economics and trade, regional economics, finance and accounting analysis, and the issues that come from them. 

While studying, you will be able to choose from one of the 18 blocks of competencies – to specialise and gain the competitive knowledge needed in  this particular block of the labour market.

At KTU we use modern and advanced study methods including case studies, experimental techniques, business scenario simulations, and problem-based learning, as well as SPSS, EViews software packages, and the Bloomberg platform.

Here, you will gather a wider understanding of government policy-making, business behavior, and constant changes in economic systems around the world. 85% of our students are employed straight after their studies, while others start working while studying or after completing an internship.

Product and service development

Are you interested in creating real products and services while studying? It is now possible to test yourself by getting involved in a product development project (PDP).

During the project, you will work in teams, collaborating with KTU researchers and social partners. While solving current, relevant problems you will improve your teamwork, project management, and problem-solving skills, deepen your professional knowledge, and expand your career opportunities.

Core Economic Theory

Introduction to Economics, Basics of Accounting, Microeconomics & Macroeconomics, and History of Economics to provide a solid foundation in understand economic principles.

Quantitative and Analytical Skills

Courses like Mathematics, Economic Statistics, Econometrics, and Data Analytics build strong analytical and statistical skills.

Business and Finance

Topics include Management, Fundamentals of Finance, Applied Financial Analysis, Investment Basics, Business Law, Marketing, and Business Intelligence & Data Mining.

International Focus

Courses such as International Economics, International Financial Settlements, Economics of International Integration, and International Trade Operations highlight global economic dynamics.

Practical Applications

Students work on a Product Development Project and take a Professsional Internship, to apply the theoretical knowledge to practical use.
