The 3 International DN MADE program welcome French and international students of various nationalities who wish to complete a French undergraduate degree, through the third year of Bachelor level studies.

DN MADE promotes links between design/creation and production/manufacturing. Based on a common teaching base, training is built around project dynamics.

Depending on the speciality, holders of DN MADE can work as design assistants in a design studio, in agencies, in SME/SMIs, work as freelancers or access a job as a craftsman-designer mastering advanced techniques.

Full degree, or 3rd year top-up:

L’École de design Nantes Atlantique offers 4 DN MADE programs organized over three years.

• French track: The first two years are entirely taught in French, therefore students require a high school diploma and a French level B2 to join. Students can choose among 4 specializations:
  • Digital media design.
  • Industrial product.
  • Retail and interior design.
  • Circular fashion design (which will be launched next September Intake).

• French or English track: In the 3rd year, students have the choice to continue in French, or study in English in an International Class. This 3rd year welcomes students who have validated 2 years of undergraduate studies in digital design, space design or product design. Students are organized into one of three DN MADE programs listed above, depending on their previous studies.

Teaching program:

The teaching is organized around three main areas:

• Generic culture and humanities
• Cross-disciplinary teaching
• Practical and professional teaching

Throughout the year, our students will work on various workshops, including an international workshop supervised by teachers from our partner schools, and will also develop a personal project that will be the subject of a final diploma defense.

3rd year of DN MADE:

International class students have the opportunity to:

• Follow a program taught in English,

• Cooperate with international exchange students for a semester on group projects supervised by professional designers,

• Evolve in an intercultural context.
