The Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication allows students to gain core skills for the most important areas of corporate communication. Students will be able to develop business and managerial competencies in strategic communication.
Our Faculty professors are academics and practitioners highly specialized in the main areas of Strategic Communication and with a large international teaching experience. The teaching methods have a strong practical orientation and are based on projects developed by organizations for group activities and discussion of case studies.
The course offers innovative teaching, characterized by a strong practical and project-based approach. The lectures are integrated by project work, business games, role-play, and discussions of case histories, which allow students to deeply understand real organizational and managerial dynamics.
The degree course, taught in English, is structured in a first-year common to all enrolled students and in a second year characterized by two branches of specialization between which students will have to choose:
Intending to enhance its international vocation, the Degree Course offers three Dual Degree opportunities at Huddersfield University (UK), Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK) and UWA University (Perth, Australia). To these are added numerous further exchange opportunities with universities abroad specifically developed for students of Strategic Communication.
The Master’s Degree Course in Strategic Communication trains highly qualified professionals and managers capable of covering strategic roles in the design and management of communication policies, both institutional and product-oriented.
Some of the roles to aspire to after this course of study are Strategic Communication expert/officer, Brand Identity & Reputation manager, Digital Communication manager, Content Management expert, Corporate storytelling expert, Crisis Communication manager, and Internal communication manager.
The activities are supported by an Advisory Board made up of managing directors, communication directors and managers of large multinational groups, companies and market-leading agencies, who have played a central role in the design of the study plan.
The Advisory Board is consulted annually to suggest improvements to the course in line with the latest trends in strategic communication and offers students projects and internship opportunities. Among the companies and realities that have offered internships and training opportunities to our students are: Accenture, Barabino & Partners, Borsa Italiana, Municipality of Milan, Edelmann, Etihad, IEO-CCM Foundation, Galbusera, Geox, Lewis, Missoni, MaxMara, Reputation Institute, Sky, Teatro alla Scala, The European House Ambrosetti, Tod’s, Unicredit, Valentino, Volvo.
