The Master’s programme in Health Sciences – Autism is a two-year (120 ECTS) part-time study programme developed for healthcare professionals working with individuals on the autism spectrum. It equips students with specialized knowledge and skills for clinical, educational, and support settings.
The first year includes foundational courses in public health, healthcare ethics, quality and safety, and communication. In the second year, students choose the Autism module and dive into specialized topics such as autism diagnostics and interventions, communication strategies, neurodiversity, inclusive education, and mental health support.
Lectures are delivered online and are also available as recordings, allowing for flexible study schedules. Some interactive seminars and case study workshops are held in-person or live-streamed. The format supports professionals balancing clinical work and further education.
Students complete their studies with a Master’s thesis (25 ECTS), developing an in-depth research project related to autism spectrum disorders, healthcare systems, or therapeutic practice, supervised by experienced professionals in the field.
