The Bachelor of Arts in Humanities, Society and Culture: Arts and Culture offers a modern and interdisciplinary education in the arts and the role of cultural production in society. Graduates receive a globally recognized degree, accredited in the US and EU, and earn it in three years instead of four. 

About the program:

The B.A. in Humanities, Society and Culture: Arts and Society concentration is designed for students interested in the arts and the role of cultural production in society, encompassing the study of art in all of its aspects: philosophical, practical, and historical.

The concentration explores the multiple ways art functions within and relates to different communities, cultures, and constituent audiences. This is a concentration for students interested in arts administration and facilitating artistic and creative projects in education and communities.

Graduates of the B.A. in Humanities, Society and Culture: Arts and Society can expect to:

  • Demonstrate broad knowledge of ideas & issues across the fields of art, literature, film, philosophy, religion, history, politics & sociology, anthropology, and psychology; demonstrate a broad knowledge of the theories, methods, and concepts in these areas.

  • Address and solve moderately complex theoretical and practical issues and problems in changing contexts
  • Effectively communicate issues, problems, or dilemmas and their solutions
