Description:

The Strategic Entrepreneurship programme develops students’ competence to both launch start-up companies as well as pursue entrepreneurial opportunities within existing organisations. The education covers both new venture creation and business renewal, using state-of-the-art research and practical experiences. Students become acquainted with the Swedish business landscape and have the opportunity to develop their own business ventures in close collaboration with Jönköping’s Science Park.

Graduates are prepared for a wide range of careers, including business owner/manager, entrepreneur, business developer, project leader and change manager. The second year offers plenty of specialisation options, studying abroad or elective courses, which includes internship opportunities overseas.

All courses are conducted in English and the programme is open to students from all over the world. The international atmosphere contributes to a broad perspective on the issues discussed during classes.

Internship:

During the second year, you will have the opportunity to connect with the corporate world, either in Sweden or abroad, via our internship course. The programme works closely with the local business incubator, Science Park. In addition, you have the opportunity to collaborate with companies during various projects, and you get to meet company representatives during guest lectures.

Study abroad:

During the second year, you get the opportunity to study abroad at one of JIBS' recommended partner schools, which gives you a possibility to specialise your programme. At the same time, you develop intercultural awareness and broaden your perspectives.

After graduation:

The programme gives you cutting-edge expertise at Master's level within Business Administration, with a focus on venture creation, venture management and business renewal. You are qualified for several career opportunities, including business owner, manager, entrepreneur, business developer, project manager and change manager. The programme also prepares you for postgraduate education.
