With the increasing level of globalisation there is a growing demand for legal experts who understand the impact of international and European legislation on business entities.
In the master's specialisation Business Law at the Radboud University you will not just gain a thorough understanding of this legislation, but also of the legal practices of enterprises that do business in and with EU Member States.
You’ll investigate aspects of European and comparative company law, such as corporate restructuring, corporate mobility, formation and financing of companies, European business forms, employee involvement, corporate governance and takeover regulations.
You’ll also learn to analyse both primary and secondary EU legislation, as well as the case law of the Court of Justice of the EU and the legislation of relevant jurisdictions. By the end of the programme you’ll understand the interaction of European and national law on businesses.
After graduating this programme, you will be a Master of Laws (LL.M.). You will be an expert on the intersection between international, European and national law on businesses.
With in-depth knowledge of EU business law and decision-making, graduates are well-prepared for careers in law, lobbying, or consultancy worldwide. You could work for financial institutions, multinational corporations, listed companies, governmental bodies, or NGOs. This degree also provides a strong foundation for legal positions within the European Commission or a career in research.
