The Master's programme in International and European Law at Radboud University is unique in that it not only provides a thorough understanding of international and European law in general, but also offers further specialisation. After completing the compulsory courses you can specialise in one of four tracks.
This programme provides a deep understanding of international and EU law, focusing on key current challenges connected to international conflicts, sustainable development, digitalization, rule of law, and migration.
In this programme we focus on how international and EU law mechanisms address such contemporary challenges, while at the same time upholding values that are important for society. The curriculum equips you with the expertise to navigate the evolving relationship between national, European and international law, preparing you for a career in legal practice, policy-making or academia.
Graduates of the International and European Law Advanced specialisation have gained legal knowledge and skills for high-level research, policy analysis, and legal practice. This programme also strengthens legal English proficiency, ideal for careers in international environments.
With a broad perspective on EU and international law, graduates are well-prepared for roles in research, consultancy, diplomacy, law practice, and advocacy. Career opportunities span government agencies, NGOs, law firms and international organisations and institutions such as the European Commission, the UN, the European Central Bank and international courts and tribunals. This programme equips you with versatile skills, allowing you to tackle complex legal challenges.
