The diploma acquired at the Dance Academy offers skills and competences for a successful career in dance as choreographers and dance/ballet teachers.

After this BA degree, students can continue their studies to the MA level in artistic and other programs at our Dance Academy or abroad. The duration of the study programs is 3 years (6 semesters) with a total of 180 ECTS credits and the acquired title is graduated dancer / choreographer.

Courses:

  • Ballet
  • Contemporary dance
  • Social dance
  • Competitive ballroom and Latin dance
  • Jazz dance
  • Hip hop

Auditions:

The intention of the audition is to get to know the candidates, their technical skills and creative potentials that originate in personal involvement, clear goals, motivation and imagination.

Candidates must submit proof of a completed secondary ballet school or of an appropriate ballet education that is validated by the Admission Committee. The candidates do not have a practical dance/choreographic audition. The Admission Committee, on the basis of documentation and interviews, assesses the candidates’ psychophysical abilities and potential for the study of ballet. These applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Enrolment is open to current and former dancers / pedagogues and choreographers, as well as to young ballet dancers who have just completed their secondary ballet education and wish to acquire an academic degree in ballet.

The audition has three parts:

  • Group assessment
  • Individual assessment
  • Interview
